The Morris Dance
Dancing and prancing, men in white dress
Bashing each other with bladders of sheep
Amid great laughter at these queer antics.
Covered in flowers, all colours and hews
Masses of bells on their hats and their shoes
Locals and yokels who must be quite thick.
Who end their dance with a fight with sticks
The local police turn a blind eye
To bladders and sticks and men in white dress
As they batter each other, nearly to death!!!
