Within my mind

Within my mind

To have the power

for just one day

To banish mankind’s

Evil far away.

To cure the sick

The demented mind

Erased for ever

Till the ends of time.

With just one look

And claps of thunder

I would wave my hands

To wipe out hunger.

The pains of man

His demented soul

The need for greed

His love of gold.

To give him wisdom

The eyes to see

To change his ways

For all humanity.

He must understand

This is just a dream

But he must do his best

To make this a reality.

This I know beyond a doubt

We will perish as a species

As the Dodo has done

If we don’t  respect this Earth

As natures true sons.
