You can’t take it with you

You can’t take it with you

All that wealth, your worldly goods

Fabulous fortunes the stuff of gods
You lied and cheated to make this so
But YOU can’t take it with you
On that journey we ALL undergo

Now make amends
For the deeds you’ve done
Ebenezer Scrooge, you miserly ones

Give your money, all your goods
To all those children with nought at all
Smiles of pleasure is a gift, you fools

Spend it NOW, don’t let it rot
Or as sure as night follows day
The tax man will grab the LOT

PS, if I could be of any help in spending your loot
Please give me the nod or wink, know what I mean
